This morning as I rise and yes its hours before actual sunrise, deep in thoughts with it Dec 31....,"I made it another year". Every year and every day, life changes. Being that morning starter, I never want to waste a day, we need to make the most of each day. " we are wasting daylight!", Dad ground those words into my soul. I have never been nocturnal, need to be rolling by daybreak. Relating to music, "Hey, where did we go?

Bringing another year to its closure it is good to look back, reflect and gain that momentum for a new start. 2023 I was given the words, "creation, gratitude, health and strength". All inspiring words we can wish for, but its up to us to make it happen. I have thought a lot this year and prayer about our creation, where I came from, who I am and have a multitude to be grateful for. I work hard at my health and clocked in 2040 miles, which breaks down to average of 5.5 miles a day! No wonder I have gone through so many shoes this year. I am thankful for the strength I have been given to face lifes challenges and keep moving forward.

This year there were goodbyes to people we love, but as one life exits another enters, giving room for our new grandson. New memories were made, and old ones cherrished in the heart, never forgotten.

Strength to keep dreaming, but also making it happen. As my brother said, "I have a dream, why am I waiting to make it happen? I need to make it happen now, not only while I am healthy enough to enjoy the dream, but live it, not just dream about it." Dreams can change as life changes, don't let yourself be left behind holding on to past dreams.

Out with the old and in with the new. We have lots of phrases when the year comes to a closure and we are about to embark on a new year. This years words given to me are, "magic, fresh start, grace, abundance and love". I can put those to use and make it happen. Sometimes we all need a fresh start as the dreams change. I hope in 2024 to work my magic and as I embark on new dreams to make them happen with grace and love in abundance!
